Christmas Eve is a time for family and friends to get together and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and that’s what a group of twenty some people did with an added twist. The twist, hand out 200 candles to our local neighbors.
All ages bundled up on a cold Reno winter to hand out candles that were hand made by Coram Deo Cor Groups.
The message on the candles not only wished a Merry Christmas but also communicated why we were walking around in the cold of night – because Jesus loves them.
Afterwards, the cold band of candle givers were treated to a warm fire, good eats and friendly fellowship.
Can’t beat spending Christmas Eve with family, friends and a message of Love, Grace and Salvation…Merry Christmas!
