Every seven weeks or so we devote an entire service to worship. Usually we’ll learn about an aspect of worship and then spend the hour putting it into practice. During these gatherings we might express our worship by singing, readings, prayer stations or something else entirely.

This time around we’ll be celebrating the Jewish feast, Sukkot. It’s also known as the Feast of Tabernacles or the Feast of Booths. Israel was instructed to build a temporary structure in which to eat their meals, entertain guests, relax, and even sleep. It served as a reminder of when Israel wandered in the desert for forty years before entering the Promised Land.
