Over twenty Coradm Deo-ites were out this last beautiful Saturday giving away 9 volts to remind people it was time to replace their smoke alarm batteries. Things went really smoothly; we finished well before our set two-hour mark.
We gave away a total 600 9-volt batteries to three different neighborhoods: near Double Diamond Parkway, Damonte Ranch Parkway, and condos on Patriot Boulevard. It was a painless way to display Jesus’ love for this city. Plus we got to be outside with the church and we got great exercise, especially those at the condos walking up to the second floor. (whew!)
