Recap: Truckee River Clean-up

Several of us met at Fisherman’s Park II in Reno to be a part of the Truckee River Clean-up organized by Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB). We had some time to talk with people while we waited for a ranger to drop off supplies. He had to be in several places simultaneously, so by the time we got there we were ready to work.

We picked up trash side by side with other people of the community and stenciled “No Dumping” signs near sewer grates. This doesn’t sound glamorous, but we were able to honor Jesus by serving Reno. At Coram Deo we love to join with other community organizations so we can cultivate a relationship with the city. KTMB is one organization we’ve supported since we began.

Here’s a map of other ways we’ve served our community.
