We want your children to be safe, to have fun, and to learn about the faith.
We can’t replace parents as the primary source of spiritual training, but we will do our best to partner with you. We call our children’s volunteers Heroes because we think they’re outstanding.
Background Checks
We background check everyone over the age of eighteen before they’re allowed to become a Hero. We’re a small church and we all know each other pretty well. But we want that added level of accountability for our children’s sake.

Have Fun
Your child will sing songs, make crafts, and play games. One of the most important things we can do for your child is to give them a positive experience of church.
Training in the Faith
We develop our own age-appropriate curriculum. There’s always a lesson from the Bible and your child will usually go home with a key verse for that day. Even our toddlers are learning to treasure God’s Word in their heart.
Heroes’ Day Off
We value our Heroes greatly and never want them to grow weary of their ministry, so four times a year we give our Heroes a Sunday off. The children are invited into the service.
Children in the Service
Children are always welcome into the service. In fact, as they get older we encourage you to bring them in from time to time to demystify “big church.” We recommend at first bringing them in just for worship. And, if they are a believer, they can join you in celebrating communion.
