Ministry Over Mortgages
Many of us have seen how a mortgage can handicap a church’s finances. The thought of that money tied up in brick and mortar instead of actual ministry didn’t make a lot of sense to us. We’d rather use that money to serve real people with real problems. If you’d like to talk more about ministry over mortgages, contact us.
We also acknowledge that God has churches working in different ways for His glory. We’re not against buildings, especially if that facility is used throughout the week for the community. We celebrate the diversity of the Body of Christ and support other local churches.
Servant Evangelism
Our primary means of evangelism is through serving the community in big and small ways. We need to earn the right to be heard, and our actions are part of our testimony. They give weight to the words we say. Read more about servant evangelism.
Types of Servant Evangelism
- random act of kindness: blessing our community with a surprising act of kindness
- relationship building: creating situations where conversations can happen
- real needs: helping our community with things like hunger, the environment, etc.
