A Missional Community is a small group (approx. 12 adults) who are intentionally becoming disciples under the leadership of a Shepherd. They meet all over the city on different nights. To find one near you, join our online communication network, The City or contact us.
We ask each Missional Community to ask themselves two questions:
- If we are a family, what would we do?
- If we are missionaries, what would we do?
This means we share a meal together every week. We are welcome into each other’s homes. We pray for one another and help each other. These groups are where we can be cared for, whether the church is large or small.
We also reach out together to our friends, family, and neighbors. We want to show them the love of Christ in tangible ways.
We discuss spiritual things like a family, usually about the previous Sunday’s sermon. But we don’t just want to be smarter Christians. We want to learn to love more and serve generously. That is what a disciple of Christ does.
The call of every Missional Community is to have the head, the heart, and the hands of Jesus. (Col 1:28; John 8:31-32; Matt. 11:28-30; John 13:34-35; John 15:8; 2 Cor. 5:17; Matt 28:19-20; 1 John 3:17-18)
