We count the First Annual Coram Deo Camp Out at Davis Creek a success. Never mind that it rained, hailed, then rained again right about the time we were going to have the worship service. We were still able to eat together. And after the rain stopped we got a large fire going and dried out.
Saturday Worship
Jose and Luke got their guitars out; Eddie played the hand drum. And Dawson ended up sharing some thoughts with us from the book of Acts. We sang some worship songs and roasted marshmallows. It was a night of conversation and fellowship.
Thanks to everyone who drove up for the potluck and worship service. And thanks to everyone who helped make the camp out a fantastic event.
There’s no Word and Worship on Sunday this week. We’ll be at Davis Creek on our Camp Out. Come to the potluck dinner on Saturday at 5 PM and a sermon and worship at 6 PM.
Join us at Jamba Juice on Damonte Ranch Parkway. Starbucks is right next door if you’d rather have a mocha. If you’d like to meet other women in the church, this is a low-key way of doing it.

Our summer sermon series will address topics and questions that we get from you. So send us those questions that you and your friends ask each other when it gets late at night. Tell us what’s bugging you about that thing you read in the Bible that sounded bad, but can’t be bad because it’s in the Bible.
