Sure, you could pack food boxes at the Food Bank, but maybe you want to see the people you’re helping. How about once a month at one of the distribution sites?

Volunteers are needed on the:

• 3rd Thursday of the month at the Washoe Senior Center
• 2nd Tuesday of the month at various locations
• 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Silverada housing complex
• 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Sun Valley Family Resource Center

Volunteers need to be able to lift a 35 pound box or be willing to help Food Bank staff with client registration and check in.
